A Deep and Experienced Team
Wang Wei, Chairman, Chairman of China Mergers & Acquisitions Association (CMAA)
Prior to founding CMA, Dr. Wang Wei held various financial and management positions at Construction Bank of China, Bank of China, Chemical Bank, the World Bank and China Southern Securities. He has planned and organized the pre-listing transformation of state-owned entities and collectives into shareholding companies. He has spearheaded the restructuring, underwriting and closing of numerous M&A transactions for dozens of large-scale enterprises. Dr. Wang Wei has extensive experience in M&A transactions and public stock offerings. He holds his PhD in economics from Fordham University.
Michael Spiessbach, JD, Director
Mr.Spiessbach has had extensive experience over the past 30 years as a corporate attorney (Johnson & Johnson, Office of the General Council), an investment banker (Merrill Lynch), M&A ¨CLBO structuring (Wesray International) and as a senior executive in Asia. He holds an M.A. in Asian Studies and has concentrated his attention in the past 15 years to China and Greater China.
Wang Yang, Executive Director, Vice-Chairmen of Tianjin Equity Investment Fund Association
Mr. Wang Yang has more than twenty year experience in various industries including finance, real estate and hotels. He has led or participated in at least 20 successful M&A, restructuring and IPO Deals with a significant experience in project assessment, SOE Transformation and Financing.
Zhang Yunling, Executive Director, Director of CMAA
Mr. Zhang has been working in the investment, finance and securities fields since 1994 and previously worked at a famous Securities firm of China before joining CMA. He has led a number of successful buyout and private placement transactions and has extensive experience in a number of industry sectors including telecommunication, consumer products, information technology and real estate.
Shen Gongwei, Independent Director, Director of CMAA
Mr. Shen is deeply experienced in securities, SOE transformation, M&A, restructuring, innovation of financial tools and capital operations, etc. He formerly developed MBO schemes for SOEs and provided legal services to listed companies.
Zhan Zhengyan, Director
Since joining CMA in 1999, Mr. Zhan has made more than fifteen domestic-investment and joint ventures with significant experience in international trade, enterprise management and restructuring.
Jin Rongxiang, Director
Since 1994, he has been engaged in financial management, transformation, stock issues, M&A and asset restructuring among other investment banking services. He formerly provided financial advisory, capital operations and project planning services and has significant professional knowledge and practical experience in SOE transformation, M&A and asset restructuring.
Sun Feng, Director
A multi-lingual (Chinese, Japanese and English) talent with international work experience that ranges from managing financial accounts, franchise business to China-Japan M&A. He formerly worked for an international firm before joining CMA.
