In 1998, CMA launched www.Mergers-China.com, the largest online platform for M&A services in China and winner of ¡°the Best M&A Website Award¡± for 2007.
CMA is a founding member and director of China Entrepreneurs Forum, initiated in 2000 and held annually in Yabuli, China.
The year 2001 witnessed the establishment of Global M&A Research Center (GMARC), of which CMA is a founding member. CMA¡¯s Chairman is also appointed Secretary-General of GMARC.
Founder of the China Mergers & Acquisitions Association (CMAA), Mr. Wang wei was appointed as First Chairman in 2004 and won his re-election in 2008.
In 2008, CMA launched ¡°China Sports Fitness Industry Capital¡± , the first Private Equity Fund focus on Sport Industry in China
--CMA is a founding member of The China Mergers and Acquisitions Association (CMAA).
The China Mergers & Acquisitions Association (CMAA) was established in response to the demands of China¡¯s developing mergers and acquisitions sector. CMAA is a non-governmental and non-profit organization initiated by 40 investment banking institutions. Its mission is to devise, implement and self-enforce the standardization of M&A best practices in China. Dr. Wang Wei, Chairman of China M&A Management, was elected Chairman for the CMAA¡¯s first term£¨2004-2006£©. Mr. Wang Yang, CEO of CMA was elected to CMAA¡¯s Board of Directors.
--CMA is a founding member for the Global M&A Research Center (GMARC).
The Global M&A Research Center was founded in 2001 by the Institute of World Economics and Politics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); China Europe International Business School (CEIBS); and China M&A Management Holdings. The Global M&A Research Center studies global financial trends, assisting Chinese enterprises with WTO compliance and business strategy development.
In January 2005, after four years of successful performance, the Global M&A Research Center merged with the China Mergers and Acquisitions Association (CMAA). The merger created a Chinese leader in strategic M&A academic research. Dr. Wang Wei, Chairman of CMA, is the Secretary General of GMARC. (www.online-ma.com).
--CMA is a founding member of China Entrepreneurs Forum.
Each year the China Entrepreneurs Forum attracts hundreds of Chinese entrepreneurs to the Chinese ski resort of Yabuli. The annual conference is an information sharing and networking event for hundreds of Chinese entrepreneurs. Dr. Wang Wei, Chairman of CMA, has been elected the director of CEF (www.cefco.com).
